MAY NEWSLETTER
CHILDREN & JEWELRY SAFETY
Warning: Adult supervision is recommended when jewelry is worn by children under 3 years old. ALL jewelry does contain small parts that could present themselves as a choking hazard if broken. Jewelry that is purchased for children under the age of three is recommended for use on special occasions such as Baptisms, Photos, Outings…etc
As a pre-caution, children should never wear their jewelry while napping/bedtime and outdoor play to prevent damage and breakage. Although we do use the finest quality materials, accidents can and do occur. We ask that you use caution in the event this situation arises. Our jewels do contain small parts that could present themselves as choking hazards.
Please pass on to friends with small children.
SUMMER VACATION..we take summer off from teaching beading through the school district. This gives us time to prepare for the Fall Craft Shows we will be presenting our jewelry at.
BEADING PARTIES: We'll still be in the area to help with projects and will still teach at private beading parties..if interested in a party please contact us soon, as space is limited.

Napa Valley Jewels just began offering beading classes on our own. Classes are also being taught through the school district as well.
Team Teaching!! We will use a team teaching approach for most all of our beading classes unless otherwise specified. Our first class will feature a version known as 'The Fringe' A very stylish bracelet that all ages enjoy wearing and making. Look under the class schedule for the date, time & place.

August you will find us teaching for Bead Unique at the Sonoma Bead Festival. Project will be the Mustard Festival Bracelet. February is the season where the floor of the valley takes on a 'yellow' hue

Greetings from Napa Valley, CA - home of the famous Napa Valley Wines. It's winter, and looking across the valley we are beginning to see a combination of colors. The vines are still bare of leaves, but between the vines the Mustard is growing. It's quite a picture to see rows & rows of yellow & green.
Please take a peek at my next Beaded Jewelry Class; keeping up with the season I will be teaching my "Mustard Festival Bracelet"; it is also listed under "Bracelets'
Be sure and keep your sterling silver jewelry in ziplock bags when not wearing them, as it retards the tarnishing. God Bless. Donna Houck

Kits will include Swarovski Crystals, Czech faceted Rondelles, Swarovski Glass Pearls, Artisan Lampwork Beads, along with sterling silver findings and clasps. These are similar to what I use in my classes.
